Job Description
Air Conditioning and Heating Technicians install, maintain and repair heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) systems in residential and commercial properties. They work with various equipment including thermostats, compressors, and ducts.
* Installation of new HVAC systems or replacement of old ones is a key responsibility.
* Routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning filters, checking refrigerant levels, and inspecting ductwork are essential to ensure smooth system operation.
* Diagnostics and repairs of issues with HVAC systems, including faulty thermostats, malfunctioning compressors, and leaky ducts require attention to detail and technical skills.
* Customer service and communication play a crucial role in providing personalized solutions and meeting customer expectations.
* Accurate record keeping and effective communication with customers and colleagues are necessary for successful project execution.
