Overview
Located on the Mornington Peninsula, Flinders Christian Community College is a thriving Kinder to Year 12 Christian learning community. The College is an independent, coeducational and interdenominational Christian school, with campuses in Carrum Downs, Mt Martha and Tyabb. The Deputy Head of Campus (Tyabb) reports to the Head of Campus and collaborates with Campus and College leaders to translate College strategy into coherent, effective Campus operations and improvement. The Deputy Head of Campus provides operational, relational and systems leadership across educational, pastoral and operational dimensions of Campus life, supporting the Head of Campus by ensuring teachers and students have the structures, resources and processes required to thrive. As a system-integrating leader, the Deputy Head of Campus will embed the Flinders Way, strengthen alignment across College practices, support high-quality teaching and learning, oversee key wellbeing and operational systems, and lead with faith, integrity, clarity and disciplined care.
Responsibilities
* Practically model an authentically lived Christian faith and uphold the purpose, vision, values and ethos of Flinders.
* Operationally proactive, translating strategy into practice with clarity, foresight, and discipline.
* Co-design coherent practices that promote accountability, professional growth and positive culture across teaching, learning, wellbeing, compliance and daily operations.
* Engage warmly, coach, mentor and collaborate with staff, students, families, and the broader community, fostering a sense of community.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Offered as a permanent and ongoing role commencing mid-January 2027.
* Applicants must have a right to work in Australia and be VIT registered (or eligible to be registered).
* Postgraduate qualifications in education or leadership are preferred, though not essential.
