This state of the art facility will meet the needs of the growing Greater Springfield region and is set to care for over 200,000 patients annually.
The Physiotherapy department will service both public and private patients across a range of specialties including ICU, medical, surgical, maternity, NICU, paediatrics, emergency, and outpatients.

As aPhysiotherapistat Mater, you will provide high-quality, patient-centred care across a variety of clinical settings.
This will include clinical rotations and contribution to after-hours and on-call work.
You will deliver evidence-based interventions, working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to support optimal patient outcomes across the lifespan.
Key responsibilities include:
Deliver physiotherapy assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation for patients across a range of clinical specialties.
Provide safe, evidence-based care in line with professional, departmental, and organisational standards.
Contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions and support patient-centred care planning.
Participate in quality and service improvement initiatives, translating research and evidence into practice.
Supervise, mentor, and support students, new staff, and allied health assistants.
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and contribute to service evaluation and reporting.
Engage in ongoing professional development and foster a culture of learning, collaboration, and clinical excellence.
About you
You are a motivated and compassionate Physiotherapist with a commitment to deliveringevidence-based, patient-focused carein a collaborative team environment.
You are keen to contribute to service improvement, professional learning, and a positive workplace culture.
You will bring:
Bachelor of Physiotherapy (or equivalent) and currentAHPRA registration
Eligibility for aMedicare provider number
Clinical proficiency in a range of specialties across a hospital inpatient and outpatient setting
Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams and support patient care planning
Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills
Commitment to ongoing professional development and quality improvement
Experience in an acute hospital setting
Experience in a wide range of specialties, as listed above.
