About the Role:
We are currently seeking 3-4 reliable and compassionate casual Support Workers (Level 1–2) to join our team in Wollongong. You will be supporting an NDIS participants with a range of day-to-day tasks and activities, including social and community participation, assistance with daily life, and transport.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the client to engage in community, social, and recreational activities
* Assist with daily living tasks such as meal prep, cleaning, and personal care
* Provide safe and reliable transport to appointments and activities
* Promote the client’s independence and well-being
* Follow individualised support plans and report relevant updates
Requirements:
Must have all current and relevant documentation, including:
* NDIS Worker Screening Check
* Current Police Check
* NDIS Orientation Module
* Valid Working with Children Check
* Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
* Workers Insurance
* Valid ABN
* Valid Driver’s Licence and reliable, insured vehicle
* COVID-19 vaccination
* Experience as a Level 1–2 Support Worker preferred
* Excellent communication skills and a person-centred approach
* Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
