Join Our Team as a Stock Manager at our exciting new Melbourne location

Are you an experienced stock leader who thrives in a fast-paced retail environment? We're looking for a highly organised and driven Stock Manager to be a part of our opening team at Henne's newest store location in Melbourne. The Stock Manager will take ownership of our new boutique's inventory operations. In this critical leadership role, you'll oversee all stock activities—from delivery to boutique floor—ensuring seamless processes, exceptional accuracy, and a well-managed team.

This a full time, permanent role based out of our new Melbourne boutique. We require our Stock team to be able to cover our key delivery and stockroom operations times of 6am - 2pm, Monday to Saturday.

Purpose of the Role:

The Stock Manager leads all aspects of stock operations within the store, ensuring the efficient movement of inventory. Responsible for leading and coaching the stock team, maintaining inventory accuracy, optimizing stock processes, and supporting business objectives, the Stock Manager plays a key role in the success of our boutiques.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead, coach, and develop the stock team to deliver operational excellence.

Oversee the receipt, unpacking, processing, and replenishment of high-volume deliveries.

Manage daily and weekly stock replenishment, ensuring sales floor availability.

Conduct stock takes, cycle counts, and reconciliations to ensure inventory integrity.

Investigate discrepancies and implement strategies to minimize stock loss.

Optimize stockroom workflows for productivity, safety, and speed.

Act as the main contact for all stock-related communication with the Henne HQ team.

Work closely with Visual Merchandising and Store Management to support commercial priorities.

Provide weekly reporting on stock volumes, KPIs, and inventory performance.

Oversee Click & Collect, inter-store transfers, and special customer orders.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe stockroom aligned with WHS standards.

Be flexible to work early mornings or evenings as needed for stock deliveries.

What are we looking for?

Minimum 2 years' experience in a stock, operations, or inventory leadership role in high-volume retail.

Proven ability to lead and develop a high-performing team.

Strong organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities.

Excellent attention to detail with high stock accuracy.

Proactive problem-solver with a continuous improvement mindset.

Comfortable with standing for long hours, and manual handling in a fast-paced environment.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and inventory systems.

Committed to upholding workplace safety and WHS standards.

Collaborative and clear communicator across all levels of the business.
