Our client is a leading name in the design and manufacture of switchboards and packaged power distribution systems for the commercial, infrastructure, and resources sectors. With a growing product range that includes Australian-designed and manufactured LV and HV power distribution products, they are now seeking a Business Development Manager to join their HV product division.
Role Overview: As the Business Development Manager, you will play a key role in driving growth and expanding their market presence in the HV sector. This is a great opportunity to make an impact with a company at the forefront of innovation and excellence in power distribution solutions.

Responsibilities:
* Maintain and develop current customer portfolio within the assigned product line to achieve sales targets.
* Develop and maintain account plans in conjunction with the General Manager.
* Build strong relationships and achieve sales outcomes to meet company objectives.
* Market the company's services and maintain relationships with clients, both new and existing.
* Visit clients locally and interstate regularly.
* Identify new tender opportunities in line with tendering and bid/no-bid processes.
* Assist the estimating team with tender preparation and submission.
* Collaborate closely with supply chain partners.
* Negotiate tenders and follow up on proposals.
* Support project delivery to ensure customer satisfaction and project profitability.
Minimum Requirements:
* At least 5 years of relevant local experience in sales and business development within the electrical industry.
* Electrical trade qualification or tertiary engineering qualification.
* Proven success in sales.
* Knowledge of high voltage switchgear, transformers, protection systems, and packaged solutions.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Excellent communication and critical thinking skills.
* Operational management experience is advantageous.
* Ability to work under pressure and extended hours as needed.
* Effective communication at all levels.
* Self-motivated and enthusiastic attitude.
