Legal Counsel: Energy & resources

About your new employer:
* Our client is a reputable publicly listed organisation in the energy & resources space operating across Australia and overseas.
About the role:
* Supporting and leading transactions, corporate and commercial matters, acquisition onboarding, regulatory and governance matters.
* Advising on and negotiating some or all of construction, property, grid connection, operations and maintenance and/or financing or tax documents.
* Liaising with and coordinating the work of external lawyers.
The ideal candidate:
1. 4-7 years PQE.
2. Contract drafting experience essential; experience in negotiating corporate / commercial agreements.
3. Experience in at least one of corporate law and procedures, M+A, projects and/or financing.
* Previous training or experience in working in a cross-cultural environment will be considered favourably, as will experience in the energy sector.
