We are looking for a Service Coordinator to support a global engineering business within the industrial and transport sectors. This role is pivotal in ensuring that service operations run efficiently, technicians are supported, and customer requirements are consistently met. The successful candidate will oversee service delivery, maintenance, and repair operations, while maintaining compliance with established processes and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage service work orders and communicate professionally with customers.
* Prepare, issue, and track quotations and variations for service jobs.
* Keep accurate records and ensure timely filing of service documents.
* Organise/Schedule service works for electrical equipment and systems based of customer requirements.
* Process and fast-track material requests to meet operational requirements.
* Raise requisitions for third-party services or required materials.
* Attend operational meetings, take notes, and follow up on actions.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and customers.
* Support continuous improvement initiatives, including Lean, 5S, and workflow optimisation
Qualifications & Experience:
* Proven experience in a manufacturing or service-based enviroment or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
* Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Experience processing/scheduling service works, as well as preparing/issuing quotations.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced operational environment.
* Proficiency with MS Office and service management software.
