About the Role
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Clinical Care Professional to join our team at Juninga Aged Care Facility in Darwin. This is a casual position where you will be contacted on an ad-hoc basis to source availability for unoccupied shifts.
This role involves providing clinical care to residents within our facility using evidence-based practices. You will also provide mentoring and clinical support to our support workers to achieve people-focused quality care in line with our mission.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys working in aged care and is supportive and comfortable working with the elderly. You will have a firm yet caring nature and be a hands-on person who is always willing to jump in and support the team when required.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide clinical care to residents using evidence-based practices
* Mentor and clinically support our support workers
* Work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you will need to have:
* Current unrestricted registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA
* Bachelor of Nursing or similar qualification
* Full rights to work in Australia
* Ability to liaise with a care team and provide coordinated care
* Demonstrated understanding of resident-centred and residential-based care services delivery
* Experience working in a multidisciplinary and multi-cultural care team in a range of settings
