Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled professional to provide clinical services and support to clients and families.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify goals and areas of need for clients and their families.
* Provide information, education, and support to clients and families through evidence-based therapy interventions and resources.
* Collaborate with clients and families to develop functional, routine-based goals that align with their needs and priorities.
* Review progress and set new priorities in collaboration with clients and families, ensuring continuous improvement and growth.
* Support inclusion and participation in community activities, promoting social connections and engagement.
* Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring ongoing communication and support.
* Maintain a commitment to continuous learning and professional development, staying up-to-date on best practices and industry advancements.
Requirements:
* Tertiary qualifications in Psychology, accompanied by current registration with the relevant governing body.
* A passion for delivering engaging and meaningful therapy experiences for clients and families.
* The ability to provide counseling and offer knowledge of therapeutic interventions to children, young people, and parents.
* Experience in completing risk assessments and mental health assessments is highly desirable.
* Compliance with necessary checks and certifications, including registration with the relevant governing body, Working with Children Check, National Police Check, NDIS workers screening check, First Aid Training, and possession of a valid Driver's License and Vehicle.
