The Company

Are you a skilled communicator with a passion for apparel manufacturing and a knack for storytelling? Do you thrive in fast-paced environments, love working collaboratively, and excel at crafting clear, engaging messages for diverse audiences?

Our client, a leader in manufacturing is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Communications Advisor to join the team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing internal and external communication strategies that elevate our brand, foster employee engagement, and support business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

* Develop Communication Strategies: Plan, execute, and evaluate effective communication campaigns that inform, educate, and inspire both internal and external audiences.
* Content Creation: Produce high-quality written, visual, and digital content, including press releases, blog posts, newsletters, social media updates, and presentations.
* Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, HR, manufacturing operations, and leadership, to align messaging and drive consistency across all communication channels.
* Media Relations: Build relationships with journalists and media outlets to amplify the brand's reputation and ensure positive coverage in industry publications.
* Crisis Communication: Serve as a point of contact for communication needs during business changes, challenges, and unexpected events, ensuring transparency and clarity.
* Brand Voice & Consistency: Maintain the company's tone of voice and adherence to brand guidelines in all messaging.
* Measurement: Monitor and measure the success of communication strategies using data-driven insights and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

* Education: Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field.
* Experience: Minimum of 3+ years of experience in corporate communications, public relations, or a related role. Experience within the apparel manufacturing industry is a plus.
* Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to tailor messages for various audiences.
* Tech Savvy: Strong proficiency in communication tools and platforms, including social media, content management systems, and design software.
* Strategic Thinking: Ability to connect big-picture business goals with targeted communication strategies.
* Creativity: Innovative approach to storytelling, problem-solving, and message delivery.
* Team Player: Collaborative mentality with a desire to work across different departments and interface with teams at all levels.
* Adaptability: Comfort working in a fast-paced industry, with the ability to pivot strategies as needed.

Preferred Skills:

* Familiarity with apparel manufacturing trends, sustainability efforts, and industry best practices.
* Knowledge of additional languages or experience in international communications (a plus).
