The Opportunity We are currently seeking an experienced Instrumentation Technician to join our client's operations in the Northern Goldfields of Western Australia on a 2-swing FIFO contract.
Our client operates a unique Sulphate of Potash (SOP) project, extracting high-grade SOP from brine through solar evaporation with minimal freshwater usage. The site is recognised for its innovative and sustainable approach to potash production, making it a rare and interesting project within the resources sector.
You will be working within a close-knit maintenance team, supporting both fixed plant maintenance and commissioning activities.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintenance and calibration of instrumentation
* Commissioning support across fixed plant systems
* Fault finding and diagnostics
* Working collaboratively with site electrical and operations teams
Position Details
Start Date: 8 April
Roster: 2:2 FIFO
Duration: 2 swings - 2 weeks on/ 2 weeks off (finish 19 May)
Point of Hire: Perth
Shifts: 12-hour day shifts
Pay Rate: $85/hr + Super (all hours)
Travel:
Travel days paid as full days
Wednesday AM fly-in
Tuesday PM fly-out
Required Tickets & Qualifications
* WA Electrical Licence
* Cert III or Cert IV in Instrumentation
* CPR / LVR (within 12 months)
* Working at Heights (within 2 years)
* Construction White Card
* High Risk Licence – WP
* National Police Clearance (within 12 months)
