As a Specialist, You Will
* Deliver high-quality care to public and private patients.
* Participate in research, quality improvement, and educational activities.
* Support inpatient units with specialist input.
* Supervise and teach RANZCOG trainees and junior doctors.
* Be part of a 1:5 on-call roster.
About the Service
* 1,000 births annually with support from a Level 4 maternity unit, Level 4 neonatal unit, and 8-bed ICU.
* RANZCOG-accredited training site for core and advanced procedural trainees.
* Well-supported by experienced midwives including MGP model of care.
* Gynaecology services include colposcopy and laparoscopy.
The current senior staffing mix includes full time and part time Specialists; in addition, it is RANZCOG accredited for 2 FRANZCOG core trainees and Advanced Proceduralist trainees. Excellent continuing education opportunities are led by training Registrars with support from the consultants. The gynaecology service includes colposcopy and laparoscopy.

Essential Qualifications:
* Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (FRANZCOG), or
* An equivalent specialist qualification in Obstetrics and Gynaecology and have been assessed as substantially comparable by RANZCOG.
