The Opportunity
SEE Group have a great career opportunity available for a Mechanical Engineer to join our highly professional and skilled Fleet team. This is a diverse and fast-paced full-time permanent role on an 8 on / 6 off roster, FIFO from Brisbane, DIDO and Local candidates are encouraged to apply. Based predominantly in Orange, NSW, you'll work closely with teams across fleet operations, fleet maintenance, supervision, and civil operations.
Responsibilities
6. Develop and manage documentation for all maintenance tasks & procedures.
7. Assist in the development and management of equipment service sheets.
8. Support and develop the maintenance reporting capabilities in particular fleet KPIs.
9. Act as the focal point for the review, management and development of condition monitoring process to ensure it delivers the company appropriate value.
10. Develop and expand the use of AMT, MEX and other Maintenance Systems within the business to support the reliability function.
11. Provide sites with reliability engineering to drive defect elimination.
12. Assist with building equipment models based on whole of life costings to deliver accurate & competitive plant rates.
13. Continually review systems & process to create efficiencies.
14. Further develop maintenance systems to allow asset whole of life modelling & budgeting.
15. Create project budgets for major equipment acquisitions & overhauls.
16. Develop plant reporting in line with company & project requirements & ensure reporting is supplied in the appropriate timeframe.
Essential Skills and Attributes
17. Tertiary qualification – Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering (desirable)
18. Maintenance Management Diploma
19. Current Drivers Licence
20. Demonstrated experience managing multiple tasks and maintaining focus on priorities.
21. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
22. High level computer literacy, particularly experience working with MS Office and ERP systems.
23. Highly effective planning, organising and problem-solving skills together with the ability to lead, motivate and influence others.
