We are seeking a proactive journalist to join The Senior's editorial team, producing general news and lifestyle stories suited to mature Australians, as well as content for themed advertising features. The successful applicant will gather, write, and self-edit news stories and features for publication in both online and print formats for a national/state-based audience.

1. Work closely with the editor to produce informative, interesting, and engaging content for print and online platforms;
2. Maintain editorial integrity and independence while meeting customer expectations for high-quality, relevant, and engaging content;
3. Demonstrate a commitment to accuracy and adhere to strict deadlines;
4. Take a creative, audience-first approach to your work, utilizing digital storytelling tools to enhance online content.

Skills and Experience
* Recent experience in digital journalism with strong news-gathering and reporting skills (within the last 5 years);
* High attention to detail, organized, and self-motivated;
* Ability to work as part of a team and autonomously in a remote environment;
* An understanding of major issues affecting mature Australians (not necessarily being near 60).
