Associate Director Procurement
About the Role
This is a senior leadership position within a department focused on creative industries, tourism, hospitality, and sport.
As Associate Director Procurement, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic procurement policies, frameworks, and systems.
You will manage complex tenders, contracts, and high-value negotiations, providing expert procurement advice to executive leaders and stakeholders.
Your goal will be to drive value for money outcomes while ensuring compliance with NSW Government procurement policies.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have demonstrated expertise in managing end-to-end procurement functions in a complex environment.
You will also need strong contract management and risk mitigation skills, as well as high-level stakeholder engagement and influencing capabilities.
The ideal candidate will have eligibility for membership with the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS) or equivalent.
A strong understanding of the NSW Government Procurement Policy Framework is highly desirable.
