About the role
Curley Builders PL is seeking an experienced Foreman to lead and supervise construction teams on-site in Benowa, QLD. This is a contract role that is integral to the successful delivery of our construction project. As Foreman, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the construction process, from coordinating subcontractors to ensuring strict safety and quality standards are maintained.

What you'll be doing
* Supervise and direct construction crews to ensure work is completed efficiently, to a high standard and to all plans and specifications
* Coordinate the activities of subcontractors to ensure timely project completion
* Monitor and enforce safety protocols to protect workers and the public
* Identify and resolve any issues or roadblocks that arise during the construction process
* Communicate progress updates to project managers, the architect and clients
* Ensure all construction work complies with relevant building codes and specifications
What we're looking for
* Significant experience (5+ years) as a Foreman or Supervisor in the construction industry. Must have a relevant Supervisors license for this position
* Experience in either Multi level residential and or Multi level commercial construction sectors is acceptable
* Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate teams
* Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
* Thorough understanding of construction methods, materials, and equipment
* Working knowledge of relevant building codes, regulations, safety standards and the ability to read and communicate all plans and specifications
* Valid White Card certification is required
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and to be able to \"work in\" in a team effort with all stakeholders and sub-contractors onsite
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
