About the role
We are seeking a Paralegal to support our dynamic, friendly and inclusive qualified team in our Adelaide office. The role will include:
Preparing legal documents, statutory notices, and court documents and correspondence
File management and client communication
Undertaking legal research
Assist solicitors with the day-to-day operations of files/client management
General administration including billing
Filing and general office / administration tasks
The Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate must the following core values and skills:
2 - 3 years' experience in a legal administration/paralegal role
Strong analytical and reasoning skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail with excellent spelling and grammar
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Demonstrated ability to handle large volumes of work
Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and manage competing demands
Enjoy being part of a team committed to, and delivering, client excellence
Skills and experience
Oakbridge Lawyers shall provide on-the-job training in respect of our systems and documents. Previous experience in a legal setting is essential for this role. The position would be ideal for a law student who wants to also obtain exposure to, and experience in, the private legal sector (full time position). However, our over-riding focus is to secure a candidate that has the above core values and skills.
