Job Description
* Install, configure, and upgrade database management systems (DBMS).
* Monitor database performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions.
* Ensure data integrity and security by establishing database access controls and backup protocols.
* Perform regular database maintenance tasks, including backups, indexing, and archiving.
* Develop and implement database recovery plans and disaster recovery strategies.
* Collaborate with development teams to design database schemas and optimize queries.
* Analyse and troubleshoot database issues and provide timely resolutions.
* Maintain documentation for database configurations, procedures, and policies.
