Job Description

CPP is a leading high-voltage infrastructure provider, connecting renewable energy projects to Australia's electricity grid. As a member of Quanta Services, a Fortune 500 company, we specialise in the design, construction, commissioning, and maintenance of substations, transmission lines, wind farms, and battery storage systems. Established in 1996, we've connected more wind farms and renewable batteries than any other company. With over 750 employees and offices in Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, and Perth, we partner with Australia's major transmission providers to deliver innovative, end-to-end solutions. Join us in shaping the future of energy.

The Opportunity: At CPP, we pride ourselves on being a forward-thinking business, delivering end-to-end solutions across design, construction, commissioning, and maintenance. Our Asset Management Services (AMS) division specialises in high voltage infrastructure, supporting critical equipment including switchgear, transformers, cables, and protection systems across some of Australia's largest renewable energy assets.

As we continue to grow, we are investing in our maintenance capability and building a dedicated service team. This is a career-defining opportunity for a strong leader to take ownership of a developing business unit, drive operational performance, and shape the future of our maintenance offering.

This is a senior, hands-on leadership role where you will oversee daily operations and lead a multi-disciplinary team across field and office-based functions, including electricians, project managers, and project support staff. You will be responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and commercially sound delivery of services to key clients. You will play a critical role in improving systems, optimising scheduling and resource allocation, and working closely with your Project Managers to meet safety, commercial, and performance targets. Beyond operations, you will contribute to the strategic growth of the business, identifying opportunities, supporting bids and tenders, strengthening client relationships, and implementing practical solutions to improve efficiency and scalability. Reporting to the General Manager of Asset Management Services, this is a unique opportunity to make a tangible impact within an industry-leading organisation.

About You Desired Skills and Experience

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

* An electrical trade or electrical engineering background will be highly regarded
* Demonstrated ability to build and lead high-performing teams, with a focus on trust, communication, and accountability
* Proven experience in the service and maintenance industry, ideally within a high voltage, electrical, or power environment
* A strategic approach to leadership and operational problem solving
* Strong commercial awareness, with experience supporting budgets, P&L, or financial performance
* Willingness and flexibility to travel to sites as required

Be rewarded at CPP. At CPP, we value our people above all else. We're dedicated to investing in and developing your talent to help you reach your full potential. By joining us, you'll have the opportunity to work on industry-leading projects and access the latest technologies. We foster a culture of innovation and welcome fresh ideas – if you\'re ready to challenge the status quo, we want you to be part of our team.
