We are seeking a skilled and reliable mobile service hose technician to join our team. In this role you will be responsible for the onsite repair and replacement of overhaul hydraulic components.
The ideal candidate will have experience in troubleshooting, diagnosing and repairing of hydraulic systems and be comfortable working in a mobile capacity, travelling to customer locations.
Strong communication and commitment to customer service is essential.
What your day looks like?
* Workshop and onsite repair and overhaul of hydraulic components
* Report on equipment following disassembly and inspection
* Ability to stay on task and take instructions well
* Reassembly and testing of Hoses as required.
* Onsite hydraulic support for BlueScope Steel and other local businesses
* Assist in Mobile Truck Hose Breakdown service.
Who are you?
* Trade qualifications (Mechanical) as a Fitter, Turner & Machinist or Plant Mechanic w/ hydraulic experience preferred but not essential.
* A committed individual and willing to working part of the 24/7 breakdown roster.
* Hydraulic or Mechanical background
* Experience manufacturing hydraulic hose assemblies
* Understanding the importance of accuracy and quality
