The AHP3 Senior Clinical Psychologist is accountable for thedelivery of psychological services and expert consultancy withinthe Public Protection Branch (PPB). The Senior ClinicalPsychologist is also responsible for the delivery of a range ofpsychological activities, including clinical interviews,assessments, evaluation and compiling reports regarding riskassessments of Child Sex Offenders listed on the AustralianNational Child Sex Offender Register (ANCOR) and/or persons withsexually deviant behaviours.
The Senior Clinical Psychologist will work as a part of a team,providing expert consultancy regarding issues of psychologicalpractice. The Senior Clinical Psychologist is an experiencedclinician who applies specialised expertise providing disciplinespecific assessments, interventions and consultancy services to thebranch.
Special Conditions
- The incumbent must hold a current Australian workeligibility status and will be subject to a criminal historycheck.
- The incumbent may be assigned to other duties at thisremuneration level or equivalent.
- Some out of hours work and intra/interstate travel may berequired.
- The incumbent is required to participate in SAPOL'siEngage program.
Requirements
- Psychologist—Master's degree in Organisational,Forensic, or other relevant Psychology.
- Current unrestricted registration as a psychologist underthe provisions of the Health Practitioner Regulation NationalLaw (SA) Act 2010 and Regulations.
SalaryAHP3 - $104,180 -$111,746 per annum.
