An exciting new opportunity has recently become available to join our Perth team as a Team Leader Consultation and Communications. You will have a passion for stakeholder engagement, social sustainability, and community consultation with the willingness to work in a range of industry sectors. The successful applicant will work as part of an integrated multi-disciplinary team across a variety of high-profile infrastructure, resources, environmental, regional, and metropolitan projects.
**As Team Leader of the Consultation and Communications team, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of exciting projects internally and within the public and private sector. As Team Leader you will work closely with the Business Group Leader, providing direction and technical leadership on projects within the Consultation and Communications Team.
**You will be involved in**:
- Providing leadership to the Team and the wider Business Group in line with GHD's objectives and values
- Establishing and maintaining effective relationships with clients, project directors and project managers
- Contributing to GHD's growing Planning, Consultation and Urban Design Team in WA
- Working with the Business Group Leader in business development and marketing of the team
- Providing direction and technical leadership on projects
- Creating and developing community engagement and communication strategies, social impact assessments and programs for a diverse range of clients
- Preparing reports, delivering stakeholder engagement workshops and presentations
**What would you bring to the team?**
- Proven experience working across a range of projects across the property and buildings, transport, water, energy and resources, and environment market sectors
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills together with the capacity to be flexible and adaptable
- An ability to understand and analyse complex information, conducting and analysing quantitative and qualitative research
- Ability to win and deliver relevant projects for the Consultation team
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, including the ability to talk to members of the community as well as other key stakeholders
- Excellent written and oral communication skills including meetings and presentations both internally and externally
- Proven leadership qualities with the ability to manage people, resources, and workloads
- A tertiary qualification in Communication, Marketing, Public Relations, Business, Social Science, Arts or related field (IAP2 certification desirable)
