About the roleBMD are looking for experienced Project Engineers to join our high calibre team, working with senior members of the project team to achieve optimum production and cost outcomes.
Drawing on your learnings from a successful engineering career, you will be self-motivated to mentor Site Engineers and Graduates to achieve innovative solutions to complex challenges.
You will provide onsite engineering services and technical support to fearlessly strive towards safety, environmental, specification, design and contractual requirements.
You will contribute towards building future local communities through the delivery of a range of diversified urban development projects.
This role offers:
Exposure to a variety of civil projects and packages (earthworks, roadworks, concrete pavements, trunk and reticulated underground and overhead services);Strong pipeline of locally based work;Opportunities to develop your skills/expertise in a supportive environment.DutiesResponsible for the administration of the contract and compilation of claims, variations, valuations and cost reviewsProgramming of projects with the assistance of the Area ManagerAwarding of subcontract agreements or material purchases, in advance of programming requirementsCollaborate with the project team, including field leadership, contractors and suppliersSkills & ExperienceBachelor's level degree in Engineering (Civil) or Construction Management (or equivalent)Minimum 4 years' experience on civil land development or infrastructure projectsAbility to read and interpret design drawings and specificationsStrong team player with capacity to plan and manage your time/workload/communication to meet deadlinesDemonstrated knowledge of relevant construction principles/procedures and WH&S laws and experience driving health, safety, environmental and quality (HSEQ) outcomesDue to the high volume of applications and enquiries, we are only able to respond to shortlisted candidates.
