$45p/h to start, negotiable after the 3‑month probation plus proficiency demonstrated.
Responsibilities
- BAS, IAS, Payroll tax and Superannuation obligations (BAS Agent Licence preferred)
- Coordinating accounts payable and receivable, managing employee onboarding processes, and maintaining accurate document records.
- Overseeing scheduling, supply management, and workflow coordination to ensure smooth daily office operations.
- Overseeing administrative support, HR coordination and compliance
- Driving efficiencies and supporting our business as it grows
- Coordinate office supplies, technology and maintenance needs
- Administrative tasks including general admin, travel & accommodation requests, issue purchase and work orders, quotes, supporting toolbox meetings.
- Approval of invoices and customer account reconciliations.
- Liaising with our external accountant
Qualifications
- Candidates must have 3‑5 years of bookkeeping experience
- Interpersonal skills – essential
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper and Office Administrator, with expertise in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel and PowerPoint, scheduling software. (essential)
- MYOB experience is essential and must be demonstrated - proficiency in software, financial management, accounting basics, with advanced skills for payroll, tax compliance and financial tasks, BAS proficiency – (essential)
- A proactive mindset, such as identifying inefficiencies and suggesting process improvements, and strong desire to enhance team operations.
- Demonstrated strong communication and organisational skills by coordinating team projects that meets all deadlines and improved workflow efficiency.
- A sense of ownership, initiative and readiness to “make it yours”
