A dynamic, growing business is seeking a Design Studio Manager to lead a newly established interior design division. With a focus on creating inspiring and functional workplaces, the company has a national presence and is passionate about delivering exceptional spaces that help businesses thrive. We are looking for a hands-on, creative leader who can balance project delivery with inspiring and mentoring a growing design team. You'll be the driving force behind commercial workplace fit-out projects - taking concepts from the first spark of an idea all the way through to completion. This is a unique opportunity to make your mark, combining your design expertise with leadership, product innovation, and client engagement. About You You bring at least 8 years' experience in interior design, with a strong background in commercial workplace projects. You are passionate about creating spaces that are not only beautiful but also highly functional. You enjoy leading projects, collaborating with clients, and inspiring those around you. You're comfortable balancing hands-on design work (around 80% of your role) with team leadership and project oversight. You're confident presenting your ideas and have a strong understanding of workplace strategy and current trends. You're proactive, solutions-focused, and excited to be part of a growing and innovative environment. Skills and Experience Proven experience managing commercial fit-out projects across all stages. Proficiency in design tools such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, and Adobe Creative Suite. Strong knowledge of Australian building codes and regulations. Excellent communication, presentation, and client management skills. A portfolio showcasing a range of workplace and commercial projects.
