**About the Role**

Are you passionate about ensuring the highest standards of clinical documentation? As a Clinical Documentation Specialist, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality, completeness, timeliness, and accuracy of patient records within the electronic medical record (EMR) system. Working closely with healthcare professionals, you will provide expert guidance to optimise documentation practices, supporting the delivery of exceptional patient care, accurate clinical coding, and compliance with accreditation and quality standards. Your expertise will contribute to a streamlined documentation process that reflects the true complexity of patient care while ensuring appropriate revenue reimbursement.

**About You**

We are looking for a detail-oriented and highly motivated professional with strong clinical documentation expertise. You will have a passion for accuracy, the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and a commitment to improving healthcare outcomes.
- **Qualifications & Experience** - Clinical Documentation Specialist Certificate, a relevant health-related degree, and at least 5 years' experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a hospital environment.
- **Technical Knowledge** - Strong understanding of ICD-10-AM & ACHI Classification Systems, clinical coding documentation, anatomy and physiology, and quality management principles.
- **Skills & Abilities** - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to influence clinicians and ensure accurate documentation.
- **Work Ethic & Attributes** - Highly organised, self-motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team while meeting deadlines and maintaining quality standards.
