About the Role

Your responsibilities will involve providing essential nursing care and support to residents in accordance with Arcare's values.
You will play a crucial role under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver positive resident outcomes.
Your primary functions will be:
* Personal Care: Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as showering, dressing, toileting, and grooming.
* Medication Administration: Administer medications as prescribed by the physician and ensure proper documentation of medication records.
* Health Monitoring: Observe and record residents' vital signs, symptoms, and any changes in their health condition.
* Wound Care: Provide basic wound care and dressing changes for residents with minor wounds.
* Assessment and Reporting: Conduct health assessments and report any changes in residents' health to the supervising RN or healthcare team and via eCase.
Skills & Experience
* Current AHPRA registration.
* Familiarity with aged care accreditation standards.
* Ability to adapt, show passion, and willingness to learn.
* Collaborative and skilled at teamwork.
* Effective communication abilities.
