Overview
We are seeking an experienced and reliable commercial Housekeeper in a Full-time role to join our team at the Smiths Beach Resort. As a cleaner, you will play an essential role in ensuring that our guests enjoy a comfortable and memorable stay by maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the resort.

Responsibilities
* Cleaning the interior of buildings and the immediate outside areas
* Sweeping, mopping and polishing floors, vacuuming and shampooing carpets, and cleaning curtains and upholstered furniture
* Dusting and polishing furniture, fixtures and fittings
* Stripping and making beds, and changing bed linen
* Maintaining kitchens, washing dishes and cooking utensils, and cleaning appliances, cupboards, counters, pantries and floors
* Picking up rubbish, emptying garbage containers, and taking contents to waste areas for removal
* Ensuring that guest rooms and villas are correctly set up, cared for, and maintained to the highest standard
* Reporting any maintenance or safety issues to management promptly
* Working as part of a team to ensure that all areas of the resort are kept clean and tidy
* Maintaining a high level of professionalism and customer service at all times
* Ensuring that all cleaning equipment and supplies are well-stocked and properly maintained
Qualifications
* A can-do, responsible, and flexible approach to work

* Excellent organizational skills
* Discretion with guest interaction
* A strong appreciation of workplace safety
* Previous experience in a cleaning or housekeeping position in a business environment
