About the role
Home Safety Ballarat is seeking an experienced Gas Fitter / Plumber to join our team in Ballarat, VIC. This full-time role will see you working as part of a close-knit team, providing high-quality plumbing and gas fitting services to residential and commercial customers in the Ballarat area.
What you'll be doing
* Carry out installation, maintenance and repair work on all plumbing and gas appliances and systems
* Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing and gas-related issues
* Provide expert advice and recommendations
* Ensure all work is completed to the highest standard, in compliance with relevant regulations and safety requirements
* Maintain a clean, tidy and organised work environment
What we're looking for
* Formal qualifications in plumbing and gas fitting, with a current gas fitting licence
* Minimum 3 years' experience as a qualified gas fitter / plumber, ideally in a customer-facing role
* Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills
* Strong customer service orientation and communication skills
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
* Commitment to safety and quality standards
* Current driver's licence
