About this Position This role involves overseeing logistics operations across domestic and international transportation, warehousing, and inventory deployment to ensure excellent customer service at optimal cost while leading the customer service team and improving efficiency through best practices and Lean methodologies.
Responsibilities also include managing financial performance, ensuring compliance, organizing market tenders, developing Henkel's logistics network in the ANZ region, and coaching a high-performing team to drive continuous improvement.
What you´ll do Plan, manage and evaluate the logistics operations across domestic and international transportation, warehousing and inventory deployment to deliver excellent service to customers at optimal cost Lead the customer service team to ensure prompt and professional responses to customer inquiries, complaints, and order-related issues; Optimize the order fulfilment processes and enhance customer satisfaction while maintaining cost efficiencyCreate and implement best practice, policies and processes to improve logistics and customer service efficiencyManage financial performance of logistics operations costs vs budget.
Investigate and analyse discrepancies and variations.
Initiate corrective actions where required; Identify, develop and deliver productivity initiatives using Lean methodologies to improve operational and financial performance.Organize & run market tenders in liaison with procurement to benchmark warehousing/freight operations and scope savings opportunitiesDrive a strong safety culture in logistics operation ensuring compliance with Henkel guidelines; Ensure compliance with import/export/customs regulations and Henkel Global SOPSet the strategic agenda for the future of Henkel Logistics Network in the ANZ region; Continuously monitor set KPI's (OTIF, OTD, CN).
Report and conduct investigation of KPI misses & implement corrective actions.Lead, coach and develop a highly engaged team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement, supporting them to meet agreed objectives, maximize their capability and potential.
