Job Overview
The role of a Security Officer involves ensuring the safety and security of a site while supporting day-to-day operations in a professional environment.
* Perform internal and external foot patrols to maintain a safe and secure environment.
* Greet visitors, provide assistance, and manage front-desk responsibilities professionally.
* Monitor access control and issue visitor passes.
* Respond to incidents and escalate as necessary, following established protocols.
* Maintain accurate logs and reports.
* Collaborate with site management and other security team members to achieve common goals.
Requirements:
* Australian citizenship or residency.
* Valid QLD Security Licence.
* Current Blue Card - Working with children check for Queensland.
* Certificate II in Security Operations (or higher).
* First Aid & CPR Certification.
* Willingness to undergo and pass a National Criminal History Check.
