Job description:
The Retail Business Manager focus is to achieve monthly sales objectives in their region for Motorcycle, Power Equipment, Parts & Service while building effective relationships with their dealers. This role can be based in South Australia or Victoria.
Profile description:
How you'll make an impact
* Achieve set targets (such as sales and market share) for each individual Dealer and Dealer network.
* Ensure sales and performance objectives are established for each Dealer.
* Advise and assist Dealers in the effective use of daily operating controls and other management aids.
* Responsible for the activities of sales, service/workshop, finance, parts and accessories/merchandise amongst Dealers in the allocated territory.
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge from the Prime Market Area (PMA) Report, including analysing and reporting to Dealers on a monthly basis.
* Provide quality service to dealers, primarily measured via Dealer Satisfaction Survey
* Assist dealers in executing advertising and sales promotional activities to increase sales & service.
* Assist Dealers to maintain best practice showrooms & workshops.
* Support and promote all programmes and incentive activities released by Honda.
* Manage promotional budgets according to guidelines.
* Assist dealers with the development, training, and motivation of their Managers and sales, service and parts teams.
* Actively rotate the PDCA (Plan, Do, Check, Action) process to ensure all sales activities are well controlled and countermeasures developed for any variances.
* Complete Dealer Visit Reports (DVRs) to agreed standards, and other reports as requested.
* Ensure dealer compliance to the Honda Standards as per the DVR process.
* Maintain in good order and condition all files and records pertaining to the position and or belonging to Honda.
* Attend all major field days and Honda functions as necessary, or as requested by the Zone Sales Manager.
* Collect customer/market and competitor information and pass onto the planning dept.
