Mental Health Nursing Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced mental health nurse to join our dynamic team in a 37-bed purpose-built unit delivering modern integrated care. This is a unique opportunity to grow your career in a regional area with incentives and relocation support.
This role will involve providing person-centred trauma-informed recovery-oriented care across various settings, including community, inpatient, crisis, and rehabilitation. You will work collaboratively with psychiatrists, medical officers, allied health professionals, peer workers, and family/carers to empower consumers to build resilience, independence, and self-management in their recovery.
* Employment Type: Permanent Full Time / Part Time
* Position Classification: Registered Nurse
* Remuneration: $73,417.94 - $104,336.27 Per Annum + Super + Salary Packaging
* Incentives: Up to $10,000 in the first 12 months PLUS up to $5,000 each year thereafter
* Hours Per Week: Up to 38
The new Tamworth Mental Health Unit will feature:
* 20-bed adult area
* 5-bed adult high-acuity area
* 8-bed older persons' area
* 4-bed adolescent area
* Child & Adolescent Community Mental Health Services on site

To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA)
* Valid or eligible ANMAC assessment under ANZSCO
* NSW Drivers Licence or ability to obtain
