Project Engineer (Mechanical or Chemical)
Ignite have partnered with a major water, wastewater, and sludge treatment specialist of choice across APAC delivering smart, sustainable, end‐to‐end solutions to municipalities, infrastructure projects, and industrial clients. With an approach built on innovation, environmental responsibility, and deep technical expertise, they aim to assist communities and industries reduce emissions, optimize resource use, and ensure water security.
As a result of recent business growth, they are seeking a Project Engineer from a Chemical or Mechanical background, to manage and oversee all aspects of assigned water infrastructure projects from initiation to completion.
Responsibilities
* Manage and oversee all aspects of assigned water infrastructure projects from initiation to completion.
* Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, vendors and external stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
* Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets, and monitor progress against established targets.
* Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to minimize project risks.
* Prepare and review engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
* Provide technical support and guidance to project team members and subcontractors.
* Oversee fabrication and site installation works.
* Manage project budgets, track expenses, and prepare regular financial reports.
Requirements
* Must either be an Australian citizen or hold a current permanent residency visa.
* Preferably a minimum of 1 to 3 years of experience in a municipal water or wastewater treatment setting.
* Bachelor's degree in either Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.
* Experience working with municipal water authorities, local councils, and contractors or industrial clients.
