About the role
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Registered Nurse to join our team on a Full Time basis (Monday to Friday). Our ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a caring nature, high level communication skills, and attention to detail.
* The Practice Nurse will: Be experienced in the delivery of GP Management Plans, Team Care Arrangements, Health Assessments, CVC program, ECGs, Spirometry, urine testing, diabetes cycle of care, Asthma Management Plan, Comprehensive Medical Assessments
* Participate in Quality Improvement Activities
* Provide culturally appropriate assessments, therapeutic and education services for clients with chronic disease as required
* Ensure that clients receive education on the use of therapies and treatments prescribed and feedback on the outcomes of therapy and treatment
* Adhere to relevant professional Code of Ethics guidelines
* A willingness to implement and adapt to change when required to benefit patients, staff, and the wider group
* Provide general nursing support to the General Practitioners
About You
* Full working rights in Australia
* Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse is essential
* Demonstrated experience working in a Primary Health care setting or within General Practice is preferred
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Ready to commence as soon as possible in Devonport, Tasmania - immediate start is available but exceptional applicants with a notice period may still apply
