About the role
We're going through an exciting time at the bank, our technology is transforming and you can be part of that. Join us as our Environment Manager (note this is an individual contributor role with no direct reports). You'll ensure Environments and associated services are maintained, reliable, and delivered in accordance with customer expectations.
**In this role you'll get to**:
Work with the delivery teams to assess their requirements in our shared Enterprise integrated test environments
Manage the provisioning of environment assets as needed by delivery teams within one release
Manage the code retrofits from latest codebase
Work with the release managers and delivery teams to define code-drop schedule
Assisting in resolution of incidents through environment support team
Assist with the design, implementation, operation, and continuous improvement of an overall environment management capability, including the definition and maintenance of the associated guidelines
Engage key stakeholders and provide consultation and advice regarding environment management services
About you
You will have a technical background with knowledge of Environment Management, Implementation Management, and automated operations across mainframe and distributed environments.
**To be successful in this role you will have**:
Knowledge of DevOps pipelines and utilisation of the following tools: GITLAB, Terraform, Urban Code Deploy, Cloud Platforms, Delphix and release management tools such as Plutora
Knowledge of agile development practices with experience using agile tools (e.g. JIRA, Confluence)
Good understanding of automated operations concepts, processes, and architectures
Ability to build effective stakeholder relationships and influence, with the ability to manage conflicting priorities
Strong communication (both written and verbal), presentation, facilitation, relationship management and teaming skills, including the ability to develop productive working relationships
Use of cloud platform technology (highly desirable)
