We're seeking a proactive People & HR Advisor with an interest in employee relations to provide expert support across performance management, workplace health and safety, recruitment and supporting HR projects and initiatives.
About the Role
As a HR Advisor, you'll partner with managers and employees to deliver customer-focused, practical and compliant solutions. Your responsibilities will include:
* Advising on HR and employee relations issues, including interpretation of Awards, legislation, IR issues, grievances and performance management and conduct matters
* Provide coaching, support and advice to managers on HR matters such as performance management, grievances and disciplinary matters
* Leading general investigations and supporting more complex investigations
* Monitoring WHS compliance and safety initiatives
* Coordinate and assist with recruitment, onboarding, and HR administration
* Deliver and facilitate internal training sessions on key HR topics
* Supporting the development and implementation of HR projects and initiatives
* Maintain and develop HR processes, documentation, reporting and compliance requirements
This is a hands-on role where you'll work closely with leaders and make a positive difference every day.
What You'll Bring
* Tertiary qualification in HR or related field preferred
* 2+ years' experience in HR advisory or generalist role
* Keen interest in HR and supporting business success
* An interest in and good knowledge of Australian employment law and WHS legislation
* Experience in Workday highly regarded
* Confident communicator with an approachable, friendly style
* Ability to manage sensitive matters with professionalism and discretion
* Exceptional organisational skills and ability to prioritise
