About the Role

BRG is seeking an experienced Commercial / Contract Manager (L4) to support the LAND 4140 program within the LC4I SPO.

Operating within the CASG environment, this role will focus on the development and implementation of a Contract Management Plan to support the day‐to‐day operation of contracts associated with the LC4 Program Integration Partner, including Deeds and Official Orders once contracted.

Working closely with the LAND 4140 team, you will proactively anticipate contract management requirements, support contract performance, and identify opportunities to improve efficiencies across contract and branch management practices.

You will engage with multi‐disciplinary stakeholders to ensure the Commonwealth meets its contractual obligations and delivers required capability outcomes. The role may also support broader team and project objectives as required.

Duties & Responsibilities

* Develop the LC4 Program Integration Partner Contract Management Plan
* Establish and maintain contract management systems, processes, and tools to record, monitor, and track:
o Communications between parties
o Contract performance and financial status
o Material exchanges between parties
o Variations and change proposals
o Intellectual property considerations
o Claims (e.g. warranties, liabilities, defects)
o Other key information relating to contract operations
* Support the day‐to‐day management of contracts, including Deeds and Official Orders
* Identify opportunities to improve contract performance and efficiencies
* Work collaboratively with multi‐disciplinary teams and stakeholders
* Support broader commercial and project objectives as required

To be Successful

* Extensive experience in contract management and/or vendor management
* Demonstrated experience developing Contract Management Plans for large programs
* Strong understanding of the Defence Procurement Manual (DPM) and ASDEFCON contracts
* Experience working within Defence or Government environments (highly regarded)
* Ability to operate with autonomy and accountability
* Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
* Experience managing complex contractual issues and influencing outcomes
* Ability to plan, schedule, and deliver work to time and quality expectations
* Tertiary qualifications in commerce, business, law, or related discipline

Highly Desirable

* Previous Defence experience
* Understanding of export control requirements
