The Right Profile
We’re looking for a Senior Product Manager to lead the evolution of our holistic wealth management proposition in Australia. This is a newly created role designed to bridge the gap between sophisticated investment products and seamless user experiences for our customers. This role sits within a broader product team, with scope to collaborate across other key experiences like trading or future growth domains.
To succeed in this role, you’ll need strong product and customer instincts, a bias for action, and an ability to collaborate across marketing, data, engineering, CX, and operations. You’ll thrive on accountability, navigate ambiguity with clarity, and always keep your eyes on what matters most: empowering more Australians to invest optimally for the long term, through the right access, affordability and advice.
Key Responsibilities
* Product Vision & Strategy: Define and execute the roadmap for managed wealth products and advisor‑facing tools, ensuring they align with Syfe’s broader mission.
* End-to-End Delivery: Lead the full product lifecycle, from initial research and whiteboarding to technical implementation and post-launch iteration to drive the best possible customer experience and outcomes.
* Ecosystem Integration: Build cohesive journeys that allow advisors to manage clients efficiently while ensuring the end‑client experience remains intuitive and transparent.
* Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Investment Operations, Engineering, Design, and Compliance to navigate the complexities of wealth management and regulatory requirements.
* Data-Informed Prioritisation: Use customer feedback and performance data to identify the highest-impact opportunities for portfolio growth and advisor engagement.
Minimum Qualifications
* 8+ years of product experience, preferably in roles focused on building complex platforms, financial products, or B2B2C solutions.
* Strong customer‑first mindset and experience to deliver best‑in‑class experiences to end users.
* Proven track record of launching and scaling new products from the ground up.
* Strong ability to lead cross‑functional teams across product, engineering, and operations.
* Experience in fintech, SaaS, or digital wealth is highly regarded but not strictly required for a candidate with exceptional product instincts.
Preferred Qualifications
* While it's not necessary to already have deep knowledge of finance, you should have a keen understanding and experience of investing, either personally or through prior professional experience — or the desire to quickly learn in this space.
