The Finance Manager
supports our Chief Executive Officer, is an active member of our leadership team, and directs, controls and administers the financial activities of the group.
Key Accountabilities
Lead and develop our Finance team, currently an experienced Part Time (0.6) Financial Accountant;
Direct and oversee all aspects of the financial functions for the group; and
Advise our leadership team and business leaders on the financial aspects of current activities and on any proposed plans or projects.
Key Responsibilities
Manage month-end and board reporting;
Manage AP, AR, Payroll and related systems (Xero & Jobpac); Manage cashflow including borrowings and treasury;
Work with our development team on project feasibilities and site selection, developing feasibility studies with detailed financial modelling and analysis;
Actively engage with our external partners such as corporate and legal advisors, auditors, project investors, insurance brokers and banks; and
Preparation of statutory accounts and returns, liaising with our auditors.
The ideal candidate
You will be CA or CPA qualified and have at least 5 years' experience in a similar role, ideally with a construction or development background. Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in financial modelling and analysis are essential.
We need someone who is mature, can be hands-on with outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, strong commercial awareness and demonstrated complex project accounting experience. Our team love their jobs and coming to work, we operate at a fast pace and set very high standards, but we work in a positive and collaborative environment.
