About the role
Lyttleton St Dental is seeking a part-time Dental Assistant to join our team in East Launceston. We are looking for someone who is available for 4-5 days per week.
The successful candidate must be available to commence within 1 month.
What you'll be doing
- Assisting dentists during procedures by handing instruments, mixing materials, and ensuring a smooth workflow
- Preparing and sterilising dental instruments and equipment
- Greeting and welcoming patients, providing exceptional customer service
- Ensuring the dental clinic is clean, organised, and well-stocked
What we're looking for
- Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is desirable, but not essential.
- Previous experience with front desk duties is also desirable, but not essential.
- Someone with a positive mindset, problem solving skills, and an ability to be part of a small, efficient team.
- Attention to detail and the ability to work in a sometimes fast-paced environment
- Punctual and reliable.
- Australian work rights are required for this position.
