We're currently seeking a motivated and reliable individual to join our team as a Pump Technician & Retail Sales Support. This is a diverse role involving diagnosing, repairing, and installing pumps and accessories in the workshop, in the field, and supporting customers in-store.

About the Role
As a Pump Technician, you will:
* Diagnose and repair a wide range of pumps, including submersible, diaphragm, multistage, variable speed, and helical rotor types.
* Perform installations and service work both in the workshop and at customer sites – sometimes supervised, sometimes independently.
* Maintain a clean, organised workspace and company vehicle.
* Accurately complete job cards, repair documentation, and stock use records.
* Order and manage spare parts when required.
* Support stocktakes and inventory management processes.
As a member of the retail team, you will:
* Provide technical sales advice and product recommendations to customers on the shop floor and over the phone.
* Notify customers when repairs are completed and ready for collection.
* Represent the business professionally, upholding a positive customer experience.
What We’re Looking For
Essential:
* Minimum 3 years' experience in pump service, installation, and repair.
* Mechanical qualification or relevant hands-on experience.
* Current Class 1 driver’s licence.
* Strong diagnostic skills and technical knowledge across multiple pump types.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Solid customer service and communication skills.
* Basic computer skills (POS systems, documentation, email, etc.).
* Willingness to support the retail counter and customer enquiries as required.
Desirable
Desirable:
* Restricted Electrical Licence (or willingness to obtain).
* WHS knowledge including SWMS/JSA documentation.
* Experience with field service planning and coordination.
* Experience with pump product training or certification from manufacturers.
