The opportunity

The primary objective/s of the position are to undertake operational activities associated with proactive and responsive civil maintenance works on CHW's water and wastewater network.

As a key member of the Maintenance Delivery team, the incumbent will be expected to work within a small work team undertaking proactive and responsive civil maintenance activities and take personal accountability over safety and contribute to a proactive safety culture within the team.

* Relevant qualifications and experience.
* Communication and interpersonal skills to enable efficient and effective service delivery and teamwork.
* Sound understanding of safety and relevant industry regulations and demonstrated proactive safety leadership.
* Capability to asses future works with other key stakeholders and deliver preventative maintenance programs
* Physical capacity and ability to work outdoors under a variety of environmental conditions.
* Ability to undertake 24/7 standby roster
