About Youth Support Roles
Our team is dedicated to supporting young people in achieving their education, training and employment goals.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and supporting a caseload of youth participants to achieve sustained outcomes.
This involves engaging with youth participants to identify skills, increase their education levels, non-vocational skills, readiness to work and assist in finding sustainable opportunities.
We use the Youth Engagement Platform (YEP), individual coaching and support, group activities, specific interventions, online and digital services, referral to specialist providers to provide further assistance to participants to overcome barriers to workforce participation.
The role also involves working with employers to encourage participation and provide support when job seekers are in the hiring and onboarding process.
Key Requirements:
* Excellent oral and written communication skills.
* Demonstrated problem solving skills and ability to identify escalation points.
* High level of digital literacy.
* Skilled in administration and data entry.
* Able to proactively provide quality customer experiences and communications.
* Knowledge of local labour markets and economic impacts on the employment sector.
* An understanding of the issues and barriers facing youth participants.
The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for supporting young people in their employment journey and possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
