NTT are seeking a Configuration and Asset Manager, to join the team in Canberra (or Melbourne). This will see you play a crucial role in ensuring the continuous availability of mission critical networks for our client. Working closely with the Network Operation Centre (NOC), you will assist in coordinating and governing requests for changes to established baselines and approved configuration items, making sure that all changes introduced in the live production environments happen in an approved, controlled and coordinated manner to minimize disruption of services. Your expertise in Configuration Management Standard EIA649 and ITIL Service Asset and Configuration Management will be essential in adhering to standardized methods and procedures for efficient handling of all releases.
**NB - you will need to be an Australian Citizen, with AGSVA NV1 Clearance (or the ability to obtain the clearance)**
**Working at NTT**
- Define and implement effective Configuration Management (CM) processes and procedures within the NTT ENMP program team.
- Review change documents to ensure strict adherence to CM requirements and standards.
- Manage the production and maintenance of software, documentation, and drawings, maintaining a centralized library for control.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date Status Accounting Records for all configuration items.
- Build and deliver software and system verification baselines, ensuring thorough testing and validation.
- Track and manage facility hardware and software configurations to maintain a comprehensive inventory.
- Monitor licenses and installations of commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) hardware and software across locations.
- Support all verification activities throughout the program, ensuring compliance with standardized procedures.
- Administer the Program Configuration Control Board (CCB) and subordinate change boards, facilitating seamless coordination.
- Establish and maintain site configuration baselines to ensure consistency and stability.
- Coordinate and review proposed changes to established baselines, ensuring appropriate evaluation and approval processes.
- Conduct audits of authorized changes and perform configuration audits for compliance and accuracy.
- Provide support during NTT QA audits, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
- Manage stakeholder relationships, proactively engaging with clients to address concerns and ensure effective communication.
- Participate in strategic projects to govern asset and configuration management processes, evaluating and implementing new/improved systems for efficiency and effectiveness.
