Central Queensland Mental Health Alcohol and Other Drugs Service is dedicated to supporting people and families across the region through compassionate mental health and alcohol and other drug care. In Biloela, you'll become part of a close-knit community while helping deliver specialist support to people across the Banana region and wider Central Queensland.

About the role
What your day will look like:
* Deliver a mix of specialist and generalist adult mental health services as part of a supportive multidisciplinary team.
* Provide hands‐on clinical care including crisis intervention, psychotherapy, case management, health promotion, education and early intervention support.
* Work closely with patients, families, internal teams and external providers to ensure connected, high‐quality care across the region.
* Participate in outreach services, professional development and quality improvement initiatives that help strengthen mental health services.
* Support students and less experienced staff through supervision and mentorship while continuing to build your own clinical skills and independence.
About you
Hold qualifications and registration with the appropriate registration authority to practice in any of the following:
* Occupational Therapy
* Psychology
* Social Work
Highly desirable
* Eligibility for appointment as an Authorised Mental Health Practitioner under the Mental Health Act 2016.
* Post‐graduate qualification in mental health or child and youth.
* Status as an AASW accredited Mental Health Social Worker.

* Total remuneration value of up to $132,567 p.a. comprised of:
o An hourly rate between $43.68‐$58.59 p.h.
o 12.75% employer superannuation contribution.
