Accountant - Mining Services Are you an experienced Accountant ready to make an impact in Australia's mining sector? Join a leading mining services business and play a key role supporting operational and commercial teams while driving financial integrity and business growth. Key Responsibilities: Maintain the accuracy and integrity of financial data within the Pronto accounting system. Perform and review monthly balance sheet and intra-group reconciliations. Compile and analyse data for government compliance (e.g. income tax, Payroll Tax, FBT, ABS). Maintain the Fixed Assets Register, managing additions, disposals, transfers, and splits.Provide business partnering support to operational and commercial teams. Conduct ad-hoc financial reviews and analyses of key activities (e.g. inventory & WIP). Assist with month-end and year-end close, reporting pack preparation, budgeting, and forecasting. Support ERP system enhancements and process improvement initiatives. Assist with coordination of internal and external audit processes. About You: Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CA/CPA qualified or working towards preferred. Proven experience in management accounting roles, ideally within mining, resources, or project-driven environments. Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills. Demonstrated proficiency with ERP systems (ideally Pronto) and a passion for process improvement. High attention to detail, business partnering ability, and adaptability to a changing business environment.
