Recently re-accredited, ensuring high standards of patient care and safety.About the role: As a Consultant Anaesthetist in our team, you will administer general anaesthesia for adult patients undergoing dental procedures in a mobile setting.
The majority of procedures are lengthy (up to 6 hours) for all-on-fours, dental clearance, and cosmetic dentistry, but they also include extractions and general dentistry.
You will maintain the highest standards of anaesthetic care, bringing hospital-grade safety and protocols into dental clinics.
This role involves close collaboration with paediatric dentists and nursing staff to deliver safe, efficient anaesthesia services that improve access to care for children.Responsibility: Due to the additional responsibilities, this position is only suitable for anaesthetists with a minimum of 5-10 years' experience, or significant experience in "solo" anaesthesia in Australia or developing countries.About you: You are a specialist anaesthetist (FANZCA or equivalent) registered with AHPRA, with experience or interest in dental and mobile anaesthesia.
