What you'll be doing
As a Mental Health Clinician, you will be a key member of a multidisciplinary team delivering person‐centred, recovery‐oriented care to consumers with severe and persistent mental illness and complex psychosocial needs.

* Deliver comprehensive mental health assessments, triage, interventions and care coordination
* Develop and review individual recovery plans in partnership with consumers, families and carers
* Provide psychological, family and recovery‐focused interventions within a collaborative model
* Coordinate care with inpatient units, emergency services, NGOs, GPs and community agencies
* Contribute to service development, quality improvement initiatives and clinical excellence

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm, with future opportunities for rotating team coverage including weekends.

Essential Requirements:

Qualification: Relevant tertiary qualifications as a Psychologist, or Occupational Therapist or Social Worker.
Registration: Demonstrated full registration with AHPRA as a Psychologist or Occupational Therapist OR for Social Workers, eligibility to be a member of the AASW

Selection Criteria:

* Demonstrated skills in mental health and discipline specific assessments and interventions and experience working with people with severe and persistent mental illness.
* Demonstrated understanding and ability to work within experience working in a team and/or knowledge of the principles that guide service delivery within this model of practice
* Demonstrated ability to collaborate meaningfully with consumers and carers with a commitment and understanding of recovery principles in mental health service provision.
* Demonstrated working knowledge of NSW Mental Health Act, 2007.
* Demonstrated excellent communication skills including verbal, written, and good interpersonal skills.
* Computer competence and literacy including the use of database systems.
* Current Drivers Licence valid within Australia
